Maria Kostadinova Yosifova, better known as Mara Yosifova, is a Bulgarian artist who worked primarily in the field of applied and decorative art. She is among its most prominent authors, has her own place and great contribution to the development of artistic textiles in Bulgaria. Mara Yosifova's art is above all an art of spatial values, and perhaps this separates it from the applied and decorative direction and turns it into a world with an independent life - art that only determines and requires its environment, but least of all depends on it - it itself is a complete reality with its own aesthetic laws, with its own moral and human territory.

The images in the author's work are implied, as they are rather a supporting link to the ornament and the impact of color.
The tapestries are dedicated to birds and are tied as color solutions. The main color is blue, with the shapes standing out in yellow, pink, red and gray.
