In 2002, he was one of the three artists who represented Bulgaria at the International Biennale in Venice.
A member of the innovative Plovdiv school of the 1960s. He works in the field of monumental art, painting, and scenography. Since 1970, he has organized numerous solo exhibitions in Plovdiv, Sofia, Varna, Warsaw, Prague, and Los Angeles.
An interesting fact is that the author is influenced by Mexican muralism from the 1930s. The movement is called "muralism" because it is created on walls (mural). The works are publicly available on buildings in Mexico.
Some of the most famous muralists are David Siqueiros, José Clemente and Orozco.
In his art, including the mural "Man and Peace", Leviev declares and defends social positions. There is a dynamic in the composition, and the images he builds always have self-portrait features.
Leviev is characterized by strong drama and a personal attitude, which makes his art extremely sincere.
