Four decades of love for the magic of the seventh art, full halls, and shared emotions – this autumn, "Kinomania" celebrates its 40th edition!

On this occasion, the film forum will turn into a true celebration. In the second half of November – as per tradition, the festival will present the strongest, most discussed, and awarded titles from Cannes, Venice, Toronto, and Karlovy Vary shortly after their world premieres.

A new section for the festival this year is "The Young Speak," supported by the "Lachezar Tsotsorkov" foundation.

As part of it, the short film "Under the Midnight Sun" by director Ventsislav Sariyev will be presented – a 40-minute story about loss and connection to roots. "Making Love" and "August 13" – previous productions by the director, have enjoyed success, with "Making Love" being selected at the Lucas International Festival in Germany, winning the Audience Award at MustArt Fest 2026. The screening of the new "Under the Midnight Sun" will be on November 13 at 20:00 at Lumiere Cinema.
